Mozart – Elf Road and creating suspense

This week we have continued to work hard learning more of the story ‘Elf Road’. We have been using our story maps and actions to help us and have really focussed on using lots of expression to make the story sound really exciting. After learning paragraph 5 today we had a challenge of girls v boys to see who could re-tell the story with the most expression and enthusiasm. We then looked at how to create suspense in a story before selecting the most effective sentence starters for different sentences. Everyone has done really well, so keep up the good work and keep practicing!
