Year 4 – Lennon McCartney – first week back!

We can’t quite believe Year 4 have only been back for 1 week! They have settled into school amazingly and have completed lots of incredible learning already. In Lennon-McCartney so far, we have learnt a full story map for our Talk for Writing unit, we have started our History topic on the Vikings, learnt about solids, liquids and gases in Science, and explored the characters of Beauty and the Beast in Critical Reading. The children have also completed some fantastic home learning over the holidays about the inspirational people that our class is named after. Here is a picture of the display that we made from all the children’s work – as you can see, it is so full that we ran out of space on the wall!
