Year 4 – Mozart

What a fantastic first week we have had in Mozart! Earlier in the week, we started our History topic on the Vikings and are very excited to find out more! Today, we finished learning and re-telling the story of Nemal and the Elder in English using actions and our story map to help us. We have been thinking about descriptive writing and how we can use exciting vocabulary to draw the reader in and help create an image in their mind. In maths, we have been learning about place value and applying our knowledge to problem solving activities. This afternoon, we started our science topic on States of Matter and used drama to help us understand the properties of solids, liquids and gases! What a great year it is going to be!
