Year 4 Mozart – Enjoying maths!

Today, we started the week by learning about estimating in maths. We started by estimating the number of objects in a jar together as a class and discussed what influenced our decision. We decided that it was important to think about the size of the objects and the container before making our estimate to help make sure that it was as accurate as possible. We then put our estimation skills to practise before counting the objects to discover how close our estimates were!
