Mozart – The History Behind the Art!

Today, we had our first History lesson based on our Take One Picture project in Art. While the painting that our project is based on has still not been revealed, we did learn about the life of the artist behind the painting – Paolo Uccello. We looked at a portrait of Uccello and some key facts about him and his life. We learnt that Paolo Uccello was born in Florence, Italy. Following this, we created a fact file all about his life, including key information such as his date of birth, where he was born and how he progressed as an artist during his lifetime. We are very excited to find out which of his paintings will be used for our project!
