War Horse

Today we read an extract from Michael Morpurgo’s War Horse and, in order to understand the text more fully, we also read a non fiction piece about how horses were used in World War 1. Both texts supported each other and enabled us to understand each one more fully. Analysing the texts were then much easier to do.
