Year 6 Story writing ideas

We have had some brilliant story ideas so far as part of our English task this week. If you haven’t done yours yet, please have a go as we are really looking forward to reading them. Here are some ideas from Michael:

Opening : The setting is in a ghost infected woods and the main character is an old man called Joe.

Build up: Joe and Tim ( a friend) meet to try and get rid of the ghosts.

Problem: Joe gets distracted in the wood by the ghosts and things start to go wrong.

Resolution: A ghost that doesn’t want to be a ghost any more helps joe and Tim escape.

Ending: They all run away and the ghost secretly lives in Tim’s house with Tim and Joe as he wanted to get away from the ghost – infected woods.
