Hello Ennis Class

Good morning Ennis Class! Can you believe that today is the last day of April? Tomorrow brings us the new month of May and hopefully some sunshine back. I can see it peeking through the clouds this morning so your rain dances must have worked! Today is Captain Tom Moore’s birthday. I’ve just been watching him on the news. If you haven’t heard of him, he’s 100 today and he walked 100 laps of his garden this month and raised nearly £30 million pounds for the NHS! How many laps of your garden can you do this morning? I don’t have a garden, so you’ll have to do my laps for me!

Goodbye April Hello May Pictures, Photos, and Images for Facebook ...

I have recorded a new video of me reading the class reader today. We only have 2 chapters left so I am really excited to get to the end! Would you like to finish it this week? Luckily, I brought a new book home with me so we can start the next book. I’ll leave that as a surprise for you!

Today, there’s a new character to describe in English and Reading and exploring scales in Maths and you can have some fun with some measuring scales!

Mrs Egan sent the teahcers an email yesterday with a fabulous activity for you to do at home. I know we’re all missing each other so much, and I’m sure you’re missing other members of your family too so why not try sending a hug? This is based on the book called ‘I need a hug’ and Mrs Egan, Robert and Jessica are reading the story in this sway attached and they show you how to send a hug in the post. I think I will send a hug to my mum and my aunties, uncles and cousins! I’m going to have lots of hugs to send. Send me a picture if you do.

There’s been so much fantastic learning taking place at home again this week and I am really proud of you. Keep up the hard work 🙂
