Reception – Simba Bubble Learning in School.

It has been lovely welcoming back our Simba bubbles into school this morning, and we were all excited to get back into our school based learning!

In school we are continuing our learning around our ‘under the sea’ theme which you have already started at home this week.  The children have enjoyed playing with the small world sea creatures and the water tray outside. We have also been exploring natural objects such as shells which we might find on the beach. We have then been using these toys, objects and some pictures to help inspire our writing. We are trying to improve our writing by being more descriptive with our spoken language and written words.

Some lovely examples from our Simba children after looking at the ‘under the sea’ picture today were:

“I can see a shiny, yellow seahorse”

“I can see a golden treasure chest covered in slimy seaweed!”

“The treasure chest is bursting with treasure and the pirates are coming to find it!”

“I can see two pink corals on the sea bed”

“I can see a big, scary shark”

Amazing work Simba class, well done! 😊
