Year 1: Bird watching

Good morning Year 1. When we were in the forest on Wednesday we noticed there were lots of birds nests in the trees so tried to spot as many different birds as we could. I am setting a birdwatching challenge.

Step 1: Find somewhere to carry out a birds watch

Step 2: Make a tally chart to show how many of each bird you see

Step 3: What was the most common bird you saw?

Step 4: What was the least common bird you saw?
