Reception – Simba Class Paper Rainbows

Simba bubbles in school today have had a lovely day, and have been very busy!

This afternoon we had a go at some paper craft to make some beautiful hanging rainbows.

First the children had to cut strips of different coloured paper. Then together we used a ruler to measure and cut the strips so that each was 2cm shorter than the colour before. This meant that when we stapled the ends together they created a pretty colourful arch like a rainbow. Finally we put cotton wool clouds on each end, and some ribbon to hang it up.

It was lovely to see the children carry them out so proudly at the end of the day!

Well done Simba class. Mrs Read šŸ™‚
