Mozart – Science Experiment

This week, we had a very exciting Science lesson which involved setting up an experiment to replicate tooth decay. We used egg shells as these are made in a similar way to the enamel on our teeth. We then put a range of liquids into the egg shells in order to see the impact they might have on the egg shells, including fresh orange juice, water, milk, vinegar and cola. After this, children predicted what would happen to each of the egg shells after leaving the liquid inside them for a week. We’re very excited to see what will happen!
