What a week!

Year 6 have had a really busy week starting with a wonderful presentation for Remembrance Day where all of the children behaved impeccably as they recited poems, explained the significance of Armistice Day and shared their experiences from the World War One visits in France and to Towcester Road Cemetery.

We then started our new geography and science topics- ‘Perceptions of Africa’ and ‘Inheritance and Evolution’- with some great, mature discussions about stereotypes and whether personality and interests are nature or nurture.

In English, we continue to learn Tom Daley’s biography off by heart and have been looking at Chris Hadfield’s achievements and in maths we are all mastering long division.

Don’t forget to log on to TTRS this week for the Battle of the Schools versus East Hunsbury Primary.  Come on SdeS!
