Year 4 – Rainforest Roadshow!

Year 4 had an amazing day with Dave learning all about the rainforest and the wildlife within it. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to see some of his creatures and hold them (if we were feeling brave!). Dave told us some fascinating stories about his trips to the rainforests around the world and even showed us how to make a dart and pop a balloon with his blow dart! We learnt all about the different tribes in the rainforest and some of their differences in culture to ours. During the afternoon, we had the chance to sketch some animals, create tribal necklaces and also have our faces or arms painted with special tribal designs. We had a great day and want to say a massive thank you to Dave for coming in to share his stories with us.
