Shopping Trip
This afternoon we took a trip to Tesco to stock up on food for our snacks and cookery lessons. We had to decide on which were healthy foods and thought about things like whether white or wholemeal bread was the best choice. Each child had to pay for their own food and have a polite conversation with the very helpful cashier. Then it was back to school. On the way there and back, the children had to walk at a safe distance from the kerb and cross safely on the zebra crossing. I was pleased to see so many children thinking drivers who stopped for them.
Keeping safe in our community is something which is hugely important so we will be practising our “out and about” skills much more when the weather warms up!
