Year 2 Ennis – Leigh’s Visit

We had a fantastic morning with our special visitor Leigh this morning! He came in and we learnt some movement and speech for the casket scene where the Prince of Arragon, The Prince of Morocco and Bassanio all try and open a casket to get the love of Portia and marry her.

We already knew the outcome but we enjoyed exploring the three characters in more detail. We all joined in with the movement and had a great time engaging with the Shakespearean language and reciting it back in a call and response style.
