Year 2 Ennis – The Story of Pirate Tom

Yesterday, we were hooked into our new Talk for Writing text – The Story of Pirate Tom.

A treasure chest was revealed with lots of objects in. We discussed the objects, why they were there and why they link to our story. Then we used expanded noun phrases to describe the object. We put these into sentences.

I am really looking forward to teaching our new story tomorrow and I think it will be one of our new favourites!
