Year 1: Paddington: Maths challenge

Good morning Paddington Class. Today is Wednesday can you have a go at spelling Wednesday. Remember it must have a capital letter because………. its a name of the week. I remember it as Wed-nes-day.

I have been trying to get creative with the Maths planning to make sure you guys are enjoying it. Here is a Maths challenge for you to complete at home.

If you do not have space for a human obstacle course make one for a teddy or an animal. When I was little my brother and I used to make an obstacle course for my hamster Toffee. He loved it. 

Can you use these words to describe position, direction and motion: left and right, top, middle and bottom, on top of, in front of, above, between, around, near, close and far, up and down, forwards and backwards, inside and outside.
