Year 5 Dyson – Sentences of Three

As part of our English work, we have been writing sentences where three pieces of action occur. Taking inspiration from our text ‘The Game’ where a giant spider causes havoc, we wrote sentences of our own:

It crunched the rocks, flattened the house and people fled with fright.

It jumped in the air viciously , blew the hut away and tumbled down the mountain towards the village.

It  cracked cupboards, snapped whiteboards in half and kicked children around the class.

It pounced on children, ripped books apart and split tables in half.

It floated like a butterfly, stung like a bee and settled in the corner for a sleep.

It munched on tables, threw bookshelves and crushed books.

Fantastic ideas, well done Dyson class!
