Year 2 – My favourite poem!

Good morning Year 2!

I hope that you had a lovely weekend despite the weather!

For today’s reading, your task is to read some poems about whales to kick start our week all out whales. Thinking about the poems about whales, it got me thinking about some of my favourite poems. Therefore, for the next few days I thought I would share my favourite poems with you.

My favourite poem that I learnt at school is “Please Mrs Butler” by Allan Ahlberg. I used to love pretending to be a whining child and a really strict teacher! I still know the words off by heart even now!

My challenge for you is to see if you can learn “Please Mrs Butler” off by heart too.
