Year 4 – A New Week!

Good morning Year 4! I hope you all had a lovely weekend – we didn’t have such good weather this time but hopefully you all managed to get some time outside in the fresh air and also found some good indoor activities to do. I have been working on a jigsaw that shows lots of different famous buildings and landmarks from around the world – I’ll keep you updated on my progress and let you know when I’m finished! Here it is so far – can you recognise any of the buildings?

I have also been watching some interesting documentaries on TV and experimenting with cooking some new meals for dinner.

Your home learning for this week is all set up and ready to go on One Note. We are continuing with our writing work on Mission Possible, the exciting spy story. This week, you will be exploring the features of the text in more detail. In Reading, you are going to be doing some inference work on characters – there are lots of different texts this week about some characters from stories that you will be inferring about! In Maths, you are doing some division work today and then continuing your work on telling the time for the rest of the week. We hope you enjoy your activities today and don’t forget to email the teachers if you need any help!

Keep your eyes peeled on the Class Reader sections of your notebook for new videos appearing this week too.

Have a great day!

Miss Vokes
