A damp day!

Good morning everyone! Well, what a damp day it is today, I think we were very lucky that we had a dry day for our picnic on Monday.

Today, there are more lessons for you to complete on our class one note. The reading and maths have several tasks for you to choose from and I would like you to complete at least one from each please.

In the afternoons at school, we have been learning about water. During the day, think about all the times you use water at home, from flushing the toilet to using ice cubes in a drink. I think you will be surprised just how important water is to so many things we do everyday. Also, consider how we can save water. We have explored this a lot, including turning off the tap whilst you are brushing your teeth and using a watering can instead of a hosepipe to water the garden – I don’t think we need to worry about that one today! I would love it if you made a list of all the things you discover, I wonder who will find the most?

Have a great day
