Welcome back Year 3!

What a fantastic day we have had in year 3. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces return to school today in our new classrooms. There are lots of changes now that we are in Year 3 but everyone has quickly found their new routine. We now have lockers in Year 3 and luckily, they were all tidy by the end of the day! Mrs Fennelly will be pleased if this continues!

We have enjoyed getting to know our new class and find out a bit more about our new class name. Thank you to those of you who returned your home learning, don’t forget to bring this in if you have something to share.

This afternoon, we did some fabulous watercolour painting, which is also a new skill that we will be learning this year. We started by just using our watercolours to paint different shades and you can see how well we did.

We hope everyone has enjoyed their first day in Year 3 and we are already looking forward to what the year will bring. We know we will have a fantastic year!

Just a few reminders and information.

  • Snacks can be brought from home for break time in KS2. Please put these in a separate pot or bag for your child to have at break time.
  • PE days will be a Monday and a Thursday. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on these days.
  • Reading records have been sent home today with new books. Please read every day and have books in bags every day also. We will be changing books weekly.
  • Key skills books will come home tomorrow (Friday) with TTRS logins and homework. Please return these on a Wednesday.

See you tomorrow!
