Welcome back, Year 5!

Good afternoon, everyone. Einstein and Dyson classes have made a brilliant start to Year 5 today. We are so proud of them all for how they have managed their first day back at school after such a long time away. Their first day has included letter writing, a maths task investigating dominoes and the sharing of fabulous home learning about Albert Einstein and James Dyson, as well as learning new routines that will help keep everyone safe in school. The children have been given a new reading book and reading diary today. Please try to listen to your child read at least three times a week and make a note of this in the reading diary.

PE days:

Wednesday and Thursday

Please remember that the children need to come to school dressed in their PE kit on PE days, including wearing their trainers.

Key skills: 

Set on a Friday, to be returned on a Wednesday. Reading diaries also need to be handed in on a Wednesday.
