Year 2 Science Experiments

Good afternoon Year 2. We have had great fun this afternoon carrying out a scientific investigation around our topic materials. We have spent the past term learning about materials and their properties. Today we had to investigate which material would keep our lego figure dry from the winters rain.

The children discussed the equipment they needed and which materials they thought would work best. They then worked systematically to complete the investigation and wrote their findings into a table. Finally, the children wrote a concluding statement to share their findings and answer their enquiry question- Which material is most suitable to keep the lego man dry?
