Year 3 Dahl- How our muscles work!
In our Science lessons this term, we are learning about nutrition, the body and skeletons. This week we learnt about how are muscles work in pairs, where the muscles are on our arms and the pulling action which happens when we move. We learnt two new vocabulary words: contract and relax!

fter learning all about the muscles in our arm, we made our own model using cardboard and elastic bands. The cardboard represented our bones and the elastic bands represented our muscles! When we finished our models, we were able to contract and relax the different muscles on our model arms!
