Reception – Forest School

Good Morning Reception! 

We all hope you are happy and well at home, thank you for your messages and photos of your hard work uploaded to Tapestry yesterday, well done for completing your first day of home learning!

There is more work for you to complete today on Tapestry, and as it is Wednesday, I have added an extra Forest School activity too. On Wednesday mornings we would usually be spending lots of time outside in our school woods, and I will really miss that today!

Why not find some time today in your family bubble to go for a short nature walk in your local area, or spend some time in the garden if you have one. During that time be on the look out for the signs of winter. What can you see and hear? How do you feel? How do we know it is winter? I have uploaded a winter hunt checklist for you to complete, also it would be great to see your winter walk photos on Tapestry.

If you are unable to get outside today, why not take a moment to look out of your window, what can you see? Can you spot any signs of winter?
