Reception – 3D shapes

This week Reception have been learning all about 3D shapes as part of their maths work. It has been great to see all of the objects found at home as part of the 3D shape hunt. 3D shapes really are everywhere! We are now focusing on learning more about the properties of 3D shapes and being able to identify shapes just by listening to the description. Some new maths vocabulary we have learnt include; face, vertices and edges. Well done Reception, keep up the super maths work! 🙂
