Paddington Class – RE and Science

This week in Paddington class we have continued our learning on the Torah and made our very own scroll. We practiced writing the word ‘Torah’ in Hebrew onto our scroll and rolled this up the same was as the real Torah. We made sure to write the word from left to right, just as Hebrew should be written.

In Science we checked on the progress of the seeds we planted last week. Paddington class have been checking that plants have had water, sunlight and have been kept somewhere warm and now we can see the shoots starting to show in our cress and sunflowers.
We went out into the playground on a plant hunt and discovered the areas where plants grew best. We learned the names of the plants that we found.

We have loved learning all about ‘living things’ and we can’t wait to find out more.
