An overview of learning in Churchill class.

A busy week of learning for Churchill class. In maths we have been continuing with shape-looking at symmetry and translation, in English we are planning our newspaper reports based on a topic of our choice from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and in reading we have been learning to summarise and have learnt many facts about space. Alongside this, we have been learning about two Creation stories in RE and have been studying Frida Kahlo in Art. We are in the process of planning our own self-portraits in the style of Frida Kahlo and there are lots of exciting ideas and plans for when we start to produce our pieces next week.
