All of the Reception children have really enjoyed learning all about the play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare over the past few weeks. We have been focusing on the setting of the magical woodland, filled with fairies and cheeky elves!
As part of our learning we have enjoyed some drama, creative writing, using our senses on a walk in the woods, and mixing magic potions and making fairy doors at Forest School. The children have also enjoyed being artists exploring the powder paints to create different shades of woodland green leaves.
We are so proud of all of the work the children have produced, and it has been great to see them enjoying learning all about ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ with such enthusiasm. Well done Reception! 🙂
