Dyson – A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Dyson class have had a fabulous time exploring ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare. They have thrown themselves into various drama techniques, in a bid to gain a deeper understanding of Hermia’s relationship with her father Egeus. This has proved invaluable when discussing the dreadful situation Hermia finds herself in, either follow her father’s wishes and marry Demetrius (a man she does not love) or face death. To try and tackle this issue, Dyson class have discussed, planned and written letters in the guise of Hermia to try and convince Egeus that Lysander is worthy of her hand in marriage.
