Year 3 Dahl – Anglo Saxons

This term in History, we have learnt all about the Anglo-Saxons! Through research, reading and watching some videos, we explored how the Western Roman Empire fell all the way through the timeline to how the Anglo-Saxons impacted Britain today. During our lessons, we learnt where they originated from and the influences of King Offa of Mercia and King Egbert of Wessex.

In our final lesson today, we create information posters to explain a key piece of information or period of the Anglo-Saxons which we learnt about. We used facts and drew pictures to create our posters which brilliantly summarise our learning from across the unit.
