Rowling – Take 10 to Read!

Rowling class loved taking part in the Literacy Trusts ‘Take 10 to read’ event this morning. We enjoyed listening to Tom Percival share the first chapter of his new book.

After reading his book, he showed us how you can draw characters simply by changing the shape and direction of the eyebrows. We joined in with a draw along live. We are now fantastic at drawing different characters emotions!

After drawing, Tom started the Take 10 to read and we all enjoyed reading our books silently for 10 minutes. We felt calm, relaxed and ready to carry on with our day.
