Year 5 Einstein – Bread Making

This week as part of our DT work we have made bread. The children listened carefully and worked together in groups to mix and knead their bread. We then left it to prove in the classroom and we baked it after lunch . There was a delicious smell of freshly baked bread in the area as the loaves browned in the ovens.

On Wednesday we tasted our bread and evaluated our designs, thinking about what had gone well and what we would change if we were to do it again.
