Terrific Tempest Work

What a fantastic first week back we have had in Reception!

It all began when we received a mysterious scroll from Mrs Fennely on Tuesday morning, which we discovered was from the island of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Since then we have been exploring William Shakespeare and The Tempest through an array of activities. Our whole Reception cohort did some drama on the playground to re enact the story, which was incredible, as the children we so enthusiastic! In the classroom we have been making maps, telescopes, magic wands and sending messages in a bottle.

We can not wait for another action packed week of studying The Tempest, well done Reception!
