Robinson Class DT

Good morning,

Robinson class have been working hard on our topic buildings and homes. The children have learnt about different homes around the world and how the geographical location of a home impacts on the way it is built. They have learnt how homes have changed over time and particularly enjoyed learning about the Tudor houses.

In DT, the children have designed and made their own dream home using a shoe box. The children thought about the two rooms they wanted to make and included an upstairs and downstairs in their designs. The children used a variety of materials and tools to create their homes and added furniture for extra detail. The final product is fantastic and the children will be taking their designs home to enjoy further.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter break and I look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday 19th April.

Miss Leatherland 🙂
