Murray Class – Amazing Artists!

We have had a fantastic week in Murray class this week and it has been wonderful to see the brilliant learning that has taken place.

Today, we continued with our art skills, focusing on creating tone and texture.
We can create tone by using pressure with our pencil. To show this, we used a coloured pencil and tried different patterns and techniques to create tone. As you can see, the children have really developed this skill and have shown fantastic concentration skills. They then identified which was their favourite piece.
After this, we then began looking at texture and we started to develop our pencil dictionary skills. We started with circles and then developed this through different patterns.
