A Great Week in Rowling class!

On Monday, we found that a dragon was spotted in the playground at the weekend. After lots of research, we discovered that the dragon was a Northampton Ridge-Back dragon!

Inspired by this unusual spotting, we read a report to find out more about this extraordinary dragon. We have spent the rest of our week learning how to write a report, thinking carefully about the purpose of our writing. The children have enjoyed learning about all the different features in a report and exploring these in their own writing.

In Maths, we have been busy using known number facts and scaling these to help us solve larger calculations. We have also been working hard to partition three-digit numbers to make solving questions easier.
