Year 3 Dahl – A Great Week!

We have reached the end of another busy, exciting week in Dahl class! It has been lovely to see the enthusiasm from everyone in our English lessons. We have been busy planning and writing our reports about different types of dragons. We have been able to use our imagination to create a range of facts to include within our writing to inform the reader, alongside using other report writing ingredients such as generalisers and topic sentences. From Fire Dragons to Frost Dragons, it has been wonderful to read the amazing work from everyone.

There is lots to look forward to as we move into our final week of this half term. We have been busy practising ahead of our Harvest Assembly next week. Everyone is really excited to perform and showcase the hard work that has been put into learning lots of songs and lines for our assembly on Thursday. On Monday, we are looking forward to seeing all of the pumpkin entries for the pumpkin decoration competition. Remember that you can decorate and carve a pumpkin or draw your own!
