Murray Class – Amazing magpie invention!

Murray class have worked incredibly hard this week on their invention unit based on ‘The Lost Words’. Our poem was based on the magpie picture below.
We started the week looking at the words in the original poem and then generating our own descriptive words and phrases to describe a magpie.

Alongside this, we then began to draw and paint a magpie tail. We looked at the beautiful colours and then mixed our own colours for our painted tails.

The writing outcomes this week are amazing and all of the adults in Year 2 are so proud of you. You have worked so hard and should be so impressed with your work!
