Year 5 Dyson – Space Centre

Yesterday Year 5 went on our trip to the Space Centre in Leicester. When we arrived, we took part in a talk about rocket science and the staff member made rockets out of plastic bottles. It was fun to watch them shoot up in the air! Then we had some time to explore the centre, learning about the planets in our solar system and what it is like to live in space. Lastly we went into the planetarium to learn about constellations. We had a great time and learnt lots of new facts. Year 5 were brilliantly behaved and represented the school wonderfully – well done Dyson class!
