Year 5 Dyson – Fantastic Felting

We have had another exciting day in Dyson class. Today, Heidi from Felt Making in Schools came to help us create different felt banners of William Shakespeare. There was a lot of different skills we learnt such as layering the felt, twisting it to shape it, rubbing soap into it to help bind the fibres and rolling it to flatten it out. They look fantastic and our final pieces will be displayed in our showcase tomorrow!
