Vicar Visits Year 1

Year one were lucky to welcome the Vicar of St Benedicts Church and his wife to join us this afternoon.  They talked to us about what it means to be a Christian before telling us the bible story Daniel and the Lion’s den.  The children were really engaged and keen to be part of the acting.  The vicar was really impressed with the details the children recalled about the other bible stories we have learnt about recently.  Next week we will be making collages of key features of each of the bible stories we have learnt, I am looking forward to seeing what will the children create for each of these stories:

• Jesus turns water into wine
• Jesus feeds the 5000
• Daniel and the Lion’s Den
