Murray Class Science!

This term in Science, Year 2 have been learning all about habitats and answering the enquiry question ‘ Who would live in a habitat like this?’

Throughout the unit we have been exploring living, non-living and no longer living things, watched what happens when a flame loses oxygen, explored microhabitats around the school grounds and looked at larger habitats including a rainforest and the ocean.

Today, we consolidated our learning and pulled together the last 6 weeks to show what we know about habitats. As you can see from our double page spreads, we have learnt so much! The children really enjoyed presenting their knowledge and worked really hard on their presentation too.
