Wonderful Wiggins Class

We have had such a wonderful day of learning today in Wiggins Class. We used classroom objects to print different amounts, created our own fabulous stories based on The Enormous Turnip, read stories and different texts, went to Forest School for an Easter egg hunt, visited our new outdoor classroom, danced and sang in Music Bugs, exercised in PE, used letter tiles to spell lots of words, worked hard in our phonics lesson, created some really big numbers and worked on our Numicon skills. Such a busy day!

During the first week after Easter, we will be using the text The Owl and the Pussycat in our English lessons. If you have a copy of this story at home, it would be great to read it a few times during the holiday. We will be thinking about the characters and where they visit, then writing our own short stories based on the text.
