A busy Thursday in Reception

What a busy day! It started with our first outdoor P.E. Lesson this term. One thing we did was practising running as fast as we could against our friends. Mr Johns gave us lots of helpful advice to help us get better and faster at running and there were some super fast runners!  Is there a Sports Day coming up?

Later we had one of our favourite lessons….maths. Subtraction today. We were starting with 10 counters or objects of our choice, throwing a dice, then taking that many away to find out how many we had left. Some comments after our maths lesson….”I love maths because its cool.” “I think maths is great because you can learn all about numbers.” “Maths is good because you learn to count and take away.”
