History in Mozart Class

Today, we started to learn all about our new History unit for this term- The Vikings.

We started off by creating a timeline using previous knowledge we have learnt to sequence the periods correctly. We then revisited this later to add on the The Vikings.

After this, we spent time exploring what society looked like in Viking times. We found out all about the societal hierarchy and how they all had different names such as ‘Jarls’ and ‘Thralls.’

The children worked very hard and are all very excited to continue finding out more information next week.
