An Amazing Term
The term has come to an end and I am pleased to report that pupils across school have settled into their new classes and all are making progress across all areas of the curriculum. Along with academic progress it has been lovely to see the emotional and social development that the children have made and how they enact the values we have of determination, perseverance and drive to do the best they can.
The TLCs have been another great success and it is wonderful to see families talking about learning and especially about next steps to improve- everyone must be so proud of their children, I know we all are.
The new reading approach and the continued implementation of the writing approach is proving effective. Everything we do at school is supported by the continued work you complete at home with your child. As I have said before, the continued discussions, reading and learning that takes place really enhances children’s skills and abilities to succeed in the classroom.
So, after a great term, please enjoy a wonderful Autumn break; enjoy the outdoors, time with your families and friends and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday November 5th.
