Year 4 Lennon McCartney – Merchant of Venice

Lennon-McCartney have started their Shakespeare unit based on the play of The Merchant of Venice. We have explored the main themes of the play and thought about how there are opposing feelings between characters. We represented this through emotion drama. We then learnt more about each of the characters in detail and completed a drama activity to introduce ourselves as one of the characters. We created freeze frame pictures of how the characters are connected and how their feelings could be shown.
